Assumption School Alumni Association

The Assumption School Alumni Association, developed in 2006, is a group of high school, college and graduate school students, as well as parents and community leaders who all hold a common bond.  We have all been touched by a special educational and religious experience at the school and are committed to its future success and growth.

In 2008 the Alumni Association will work with the
Assumption Knights of Columbus Council 11077 on fundraisers in an effort to enhance the school's scholarship fund.  Events began in October with a Columbus Day pasta dinner attended by 138 parishioners, parents, alumni and friends.  On Sunday, February 3 and April 6 the group will sponsor a Pancake Breakfast along with a St. Patrick's Day Dinner on March 15 all to benefit the scholarship fund.

The Alumni continue to support school events and fundraisers such as the Catholic Schools Walk-A-Thon and the
Annual Assumption School Golf Tournament.

We intend to continue to add growth to our Alumni Association base and will establish further fundraising events and donation campaigns to benefit the school.

Those who have graduated from Assumption School have been given a strong foundation as they continue their education and begin their families and careers.

Marketing and Development:

Our Lady of the Assumption School has a Marketing Coordinator as well as a Development Coordinator. Both these two coordinators and their committees work to promote the school and to secure funding for scholarships and endownment.
